Roisin graduated from the University of Ulster in 2011 with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy and has worked exclusively in private musculoskeletal practice since qualifying.
She completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Manual Therapy at Curtin University, Australia, in 2013, before undertaking further postgraduate study in Sports Medicine at the University of Ulster in 2017.
While living and working in Australia, Roisin completed extensive training to become an APPI-certified Pilates instructor, with further specialist qualifications in Antenatal and Postnatal Pilates.
For the past nine years, Roisin has worked extensively with antenatal and postnatal women through both Pilates rehabilitation classes and her musculoskeletal clinic. During this time, she has completed specialist training in the assessment and treatment of prenatal and postnatal conditions, becoming a certified The Mummy MOT® practitioner in 2023 and qualifying in the use of rehabilitative ultrasound imaging for pelvic health.
With a lifelong passion for sport, musculoskeletal physiotherapy was a natural career path.
Over the last nine years, Roisin has welcomed four children. Her own personal experience of pregnancy, labour, delivery, and the intense — yet often overlooked — postpartum period has deepened her passion for supporting women through every stage of this journey and has driven her to further specialise in this area of physiotherapy.
Passionate about education and early intervention, Roisin believes in addressing issues before they become problems. She regularly delivers educational seminars and workshops, including pregnancy workshops designed to help expectant mothers stay active, strengthen and protect their pelvic floor, and feel prepared for labour, birth, and the early postnatal weeks.
She also offers workshops focused on female athlete health and injury prevention.
