Roisin graduated from the University of Ulster in 2011 with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy, since then she has worked solely in private musculoskeletal settings.

She completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Manual Therapy at Curtin University, Australia in 2013, further studying Postgraduate Modules in Sports Medicine at the University of Ulster in 2017.

While living and working in Australia she completed extensive training to become an APPI certified Pilates instructor, and further training to specialise in Antenatal and Postnatal Pilates.

Roisin has been working with Antenatal and Postnatal ladies for the past 6 years through Pilates rehabilitation classes and in her musculoskeletal clinic. During this time she has completed training courses to specialise in treating prenatal and postnatal women. Recently becoming a certified The Mummy MOT® practitioner and qualifying in the use of ultrasound for pelvic health.

With a love of all things sport from a young age, musculoskeletal physiotherapy always seemed the only path, but over the past 6 years Roisin has given birth to 3 little girls. The experience of pregnancy, labour, delivery and the intense but sometimes over looked postpartum phase has fuelled her passion to become more specialist in this area of physiotherapy.

With a passion for education, using a philosophy of addressing issues before they become a problem Roisin is involved in education seminars and workshops.

She hosts regular pregnancy workshops to educate expectant mothers on the best ways for them to remain active and future-proof their pelvic floor with lots of tips for labour, birth and those early postpartum days.

Female athlete and injury prevention workshops are also available.
